Engine Specs of the 2022 Ram 2500  

The new Ram 2500 range is powered by a huge 6.4L HEMI® V-8 OHV engine with VCT technology that can provide up to 410 horsepower. The engine also generates 429 lb.-ft. of torque, which enables the Ram 2500 to haul a max of 17,540 lbs. The engine output of the new Ram 2500 is routed to vehicle’s wheels using an efficient 8HP75 eight-speed automated gearbox system.  

A 6.7L Cummins® Turbo Diesel In-line 6 engine, which produces 370 horsepower and 850 lb.-ft. of torque, is also available with the 2022 Ram 2500. This engine can assist the truck in towing up to 20,000 pounds. Choosing this engine, though, will set you back nearly $9,500.
